For Cincy For Club Apparel
Art direction and social graphics for For Cincy For Club Apparel.
FCC launched it’s own clothing line For Cincy For Club which was designed to give fans an option to rep their city and club that looked different from typical sport fan-ware. I worked with our merchandise team and Rooted Creative to art direct the photo shoot and create social graphics to promote the new line.
Strategically we wanted the images from this photo shoot to visually feel as though they were a part of our 2021 look and feel, while also taking a unique approach to the visual representation of the fins. Additionally, knowing that this was a campaign that we would continue to promote over time, we wanted to create several distinct looks that would feel cohesive. That way when we post the collection to social in the future, it will feel unique and engaging all over again, even though the product offering has not changed.
This idea is illustrated below with the graphics that we used for the launch and the graphics I created for the refresh.
Mood boards and photography.
Going into this shoot, I knew that I wanted the design elements to be included in the photos themselves so that there was minimal work being done in post production to have them fit with our 2021 Matchday graphics. It was important that I communicate the vision clearly upfront. Below are the mood boards that we shared with Rooted Creative Agency and a sampling of final photos that help illustrate the different looks we captured.
